Energy: We are venturing into this field to tap the abundant natural
resources for producing electricity. We are proud to have been associated
with the Sagar Island Wind Energy Project under WBREDA. We are soon going
to formally tie-up with reputed global firms to acquire and develop the
technology related to this field for generating & distributing
electricity at cheap rates for the far flung coastal village areas.
 Plasma:
We are also venturing into this field of physics and engineering. We have
developed a couple of custom built Plasma Reactors for Regional Research
Laboratory, Bhubaneswar and Plasma Power Source. As a result we have
developed the technology related to this process and are looking ahead to
make further forays into this field of technology in the coming future.

 METCO
has acquired the state-of-the-art expertise in the retrofitting and
rehabilitation of various reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete
bridges under difficult site condition, like world famous Rabindra Setu (Howrah
Bridge), Iswar Gupta Setu at Kalyani, Teesta Bridge at Jalpaiguri, West
Bengal etc. METCO also undertakes retrofitting works for bridges/flyovers
which were under seismic Zone I are now in Zone III or higher.
 We
also undertake retrofitting/revamping of high capacity hydraulic forging
presses. We have an arrangement with a reputed European firm with whom we
join forces to undertake such work. Till date we have together revamped
and modernized a 2650t hydraulic forging press introducing today's
state-of-the-art technology and converting the same from water hydraulic
to air hydraulic.
