 The
bearing cleaning plant is generally used in the Rly Workshop which is
essentially operates on the principle of jet spraying of chemical
/detergent mixed hot water in a closed enclosure for the purpose of
cleaning of dirty grease from the used bearing surfaces and inside. The
plant consists of four main systems /stations :

- Bosch
Tank for Precleaning of Bearings

- Main equipment for Hot Water wash, rinsing and dipping
in rush inhibition

| The system is such that roller bearings shall automatically
run through the entire system including washing, cleaning and rinsing
stage, after manually loaded on a track with guide bars . The bearings
shall be subjected to hot water spray under pressure in washing cabin,
hot detergent spray under pressure in cleaning cabin and finally hot
clean water with rust inhibitor spray under pressure in rinse cabin and
finally the bearings shall be delivered in cleaned and oiled condition.
